Troubleshooting Multi-User Mode

Use these instructions if multiple users are unable to access QuickBooks at the same time.

Double-check Company file is in multi-user mode on all open versions. (File > Multi-User Mode (or Single-User Mode if already enabled))

If multi-user mode doesn't work, follow the steps below:

Close Company File on all computers.

From the file server > Run QuickBooks Database Server Manager.

Re-open Company File and go to File > Multi-user Mode.

Attempt re-opening company file on other computers at the same time.
